  17. DBIO - Graphical User Interface for DBUTIL and ADBIO ----------------------------------------------------

The two packages DBUTIL and ADBIO allow to convert HP100LX and HP200LX phone books, databases and appointment books to comma delimited format (CDF) and vice versa. The comma delimited format can be loaded into other applications on different platforms and those applications can produce comma delimited format that can be imported into the HP applications.

DBUTIL and ADBIO however, use a quite cryptic command line interface. Since many people feel uncomfortable using that interface, I wrote DBIO. DBIO asks the user for the needed information using familiar dialog boxes known from the HP applications. After all information is gathered, the appropriate program (GDBDUMP, GDBLOAD, ADBDUMP or ADBLOAD) is called to do the actual work.
